摘要：NOVELTY - Thickening agent comprises 100 pts. wt. xanthan gum powder, 0.5-2 pts. wt. alkali, 40-80 pts. wt. water, 200-300 pts. wt. organic alcohol, 20-50 pts. wt. etherifying agent, and 0.1-1 pts. wt. phase transfer catalyst. The alkali is sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide. The organic alcohol is methanol, ethanol, propanol, isopropanol, ethylene glycol, glycerol and/or 1,3-propanediol. The etherifying agent is chloroethanol or 1,2-propylene oxide. The phase transfer catalyst is dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide, tetradecyltrimethylammonium bromide and/or cetyltrimethylammonium bromide. USE - The thickening agent is useful in a fracturing fluid (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The thickening agent can be simply prepared with good temperature-resistant property, and acid and alkali resistances in an economical manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) preparing the thickening agent comprising mixing organic alcohol, water and organic solvent into a reaction system and then stirring at a temperature of 20-35 degrees C and reacting for 0.5-3 hours, adding etherifying agent and phase transfer catalyst into the reactor and then reacting at a temperature of 60-85 degrees C for 2-5 hours and cooling at a room temperature, and filtering the cooled mixture, and washing the filtrate with 90% of ethanol solution and then drying at a temperature of 50-60 degrees C for 6 hours and grinding; (2) a fracturing fluid comprising 0.15-0.6 pts. wt. modified xanthan thickening agent, 1-2 pts. wt. potassium chloride, and 100 pts. wt. water; and (3) preparing the fracturing fluid comprising adding modified xanthan thickening agent, potassium chloride and water, stirring the potassium chloride into water, and stirring modified xanthan thickening agent into water for 10-20 minutes.
