摘要:用热扩散法和电场辅助扩散法制备了Cs+-Na+离子交换玻璃玻导.温度低于玻璃转变温度时,这些波导具有良好的热稳定性.研究结果表明,Cs+-Na十离子交换不服从Fick扩散定律.因CS十和Na+之间巨大的尺寸差异而产生的应力梯度和因上述两种离子的扩散系数差别较大而形成的电中性场梯度渥s+-Na+离子交换中的扩散过程.本文提出的离子交换机理可很好地解释折射率分布及由SEM法和X射线能谱法所得的浓度分布.
Thc Cs+-Na+ ion exchahgc glass waveguides were made by both thermal diffusion and electrical fieldassista1lt diffusion methods. After the investigation of the temperature depcndence of the waveguides, it wasfound that these waveguides exhibit very high thermal stability below the glass transition temperature. Theion cxchangc mechanism of Cs+ -Na+ ion exchange was found to be non-Fick Diffusion. The stress gradientcanscd by the hugc dimension difference for Cs+ and Na+ ions, as the electroneutrality field gradientproduced duc to the largc difference in diffusion coefficients between Cs+ and Na+ ions predominate thediffusion process in ion exchange. The refractive index prohiles and concentration profiles obtained by SEMand X-ray cnergy dispcrsivc analysis call bc well cxplai11ed by thc proposed ion-exchange mechanism.
