DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of N-substituted-1H-pyrrole compound of formula (I) comprises reacting pyrrolidone carboxylic acid compound of formula (II) and oxidant with catalyst at 100-140 degrees C. Ar'=5-6 membered heterocyclic compound with N, O, and/or S heteroatoms or X-substituted 5-6 membered heterocyclic compound with N, O, and/or S heteroatoms; and X=halo, NO2, CF3, CN, and/or alkoxy.
