摘要：NOVELTY - A modified polypropylene hollow fiber membrane involves preparing modified liquid. The hollow fiber membrane yarn with length of 30mm is immersed in 500 ml modified liquid, heated under nitrogen protection, after 4 hours washing with deionized water, followed by immersing product in ethanol, washing unreacted byproducts, immersing in sodium hydroxide solution, adding sodium chloride, after 12 hours immersing in solution of ferric chloride, and removing silk membrane immersed in sodium hydroxide solution to obtain product. USE - Method for preparing modified polypropylene hollow fiber membrane that is utilized for removing mercury from flue gas (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A modified polypropylene hollow fiber membrane involves preparing modified liquid by mixing 50-150 ml acrylic acid, 5-15 g potassium persulfate and 5-15 ml ethylene glycol, and rest of deionized water. The hollow fiber membrane yarn with length of 30mm is immersed in 500 ml modified liquid, heated at 80-90 degrees C for 2-4 hours under nitrogen protection, after 4 hours washing with deionized water, followed by immersing product in ethanol, washing unreacted byproducts by CH2=CHCOOH, immersing in sodium hydroxide solution at pH 9-13, adding 50-100 mM sodium chloride, after 12 hours immersing in 0.01-0.2M solution of ferric chloride for 2-4 hours, and removing silk membrane immersed in 0.001-0.1M sodium hydroxide solution for 1-2 hours to obtain product. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for use of modified polypropylene hollow fiber membrane for removing mercury from flue gas.
