摘要:NOVELTY - Tert.-amide compound is prepared by reacting sec.-amide compound and dicarbonyl compound in presence of catalyst without solvent at 100-160 degrees C under atmospheric pressure in which catalyst is Group-VIII element-containing salt. USE - Preparation of tert.-amide compound (claimed). ADVANTAGE - Process is simple, environment-friendly, and has mild reaction conditions, less material and energy consumption. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Tert.-amide compound of formula (I) is prepared by reacting sec.-amide compound of formula (II) and dicarbonyl compound of formula(III) in presence of catalyst without solvent at 100-160 degrees C under atmospheric pressure in which catalyst is Group-VIII element-containing salt. R1,R2=H, 1-10C straight chain or branched alkyl optionally substituted with phenyl; and R3=1-7C straight chain or branched alkyl optionally substituted with phenol, hydroxy, and/or 1-3C alkoxy-substituted phenyl, phenol and/or hydroxy-substituted 1-10C straight chain or branched alkyl, or phenyl substituted with halo, OH, optionally O or OH-substituted 1-3C alkyl, and/or 1-3C alkoxy.
