摘要:NOVELTY - A surface modifying agent comprising coupling agent, film-forming agent, lubricant, surfactant, pH buffer and water is prepared. An alkoxy group in silane coupling agent is hydrolyzed under acidic conditions, to generate ethanol and silanol. The surface modifying agent is infiltrated by immersing mullite fiber in the surface modifying agent, hydroxy moiety of silanol is etherified, such that the fiber surface is grafted. The reactive groups of the organic component of infiltrant are reacted with other end of the silane coupling agent, and obtained modified mullite fiber is dried. USE - Surface modification of mullite fiber (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables surface modification of mullite fiber with excellent glossiness, flexibility and surface property. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A surface modifying agent comprising coupling agent, film-forming agent, lubricant, surfactant, pH buffer and water is prepared. The alkoxy group in silane coupling agent is hydrolyzed under acidic conditions (pH is 3-5), to generate ethanol and silanol. The silane coupling agent is KH-550 (RTM: gamma -aminopropyltriethoxysilane) and KH-570 (RTM: gamma -methacryloyloxypropyltrimethoxysilane). The surface modifying agent is infiltrated by immersing mullite fiber in the surface modifying agent, hydroxy moiety of silanol is etherified, and Si-O-Si structure is formed, such that the fiber surface is grafted. The reactive groups of the organic component of infiltrant are reacted with other end of the silane coupling agent, and obtained modified mullite fiber is dried at 105 degrees C for 90 minutes.
