摘要:NOVELTY - The invention discloses a dysprosium-doped selenide glass with selenium, germanium and gallium as main compositions and dysprosium. The result, from testing the polished glass for IR spectrum, micro hardness, density, XRD, IR light and fluorescence life time, shows that the system has lower phonon energy to increase effectively the quantum luminosity efficiency. When the doped quantity of dysprosium is 2000 ppm, some samples have good luminous performance at 1146 nm and 1343 nm wavelength with fluorescence life-time as 440-530 microns that is longer than the dysprosium in sulfide glass. USE - Used in 1.3 microns communication window optical fiber amplifier.
