摘要：NOVELTY - A modified asphalt made from waste rubber comprises reacting desulfurated and recycled rubber powder with asphalt at 130-250 degrees C in the presence of rubber vulcanizing component e.g. sulphur or/and rubber vulcanizing promoter. USE - The process is useful for preparing modified asphalt made from waste rubber. ADVANTAGE - The method uses the desulfurated and recycled rubber powder as modifier, prepares a modified asphalt (asphalt rubber) having low production cost and excellent stability in the presence of a small amount of vulcanizing component. It overcomes the shortcomings in the present technology e.g. the production cost is high and the dispersive stability of the rubber in the asphalt is bad.
