摘要:NOVELTY - Preparation of photocatalyst, involves reacting zinc sulfate hexahydrate, hexamethylenetetramine, and deionized water, cooling, filtering, vacuum-drying to obtain zinc oxide nanosheets, adding isopropanol to a beaker, adding zinc oxide, ultrasonically dissolving, dripping butyl titanate ester and diethylenetriamine, ultrasonically dissolving, heating, cooling, centrifuging, washing with deionized water and ethanol thrice, centrifuging, vacuum-drying, and annealing and quenching in a muffle furnace at 400 degrees C for 2 hours by heating at 1 degrees C/minute. USE - Preparation of photocatalyst for decomposing organic contaminants. ADVANTAGE - The method provides photocatalyst having high electron mobility, excellent decomposition effect with respect to organic contaminants, and better photocatalytic effect than titania. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of photocatalyst, involves adding zinc sulfate hexahydrate, hexamethylenetetramine, and deionized water to a 100 mL beaker such that the molar ratio of zinc sulfate, hexamethylenetetramine, and deionized water is 1:1-1.1:1, reacting in an oil bath at 90 degrees C for 8 hours, cooling to room temperature, filtering, vacuum-drying at 60 degrees C for 24 hours to obtain zinc oxide nanosheets, adding isopropanol to a beaker, adding zinc oxide, ultrasonically dissolving, dripping butyl titanate ester and diethylenetriamine, ultrasonically dissolving for 40 minutes, transferring to a 50 mL reactor, heating in an oven at 200 degrees C for 24 hours, cooling, centrifuging, washing with deionized water and ethanol thrice, centrifuging at 8000 rpm, vacuum-drying at 60 degrees C for 24 hours, and annealing and quenching in a muffle furnace at 400 degrees C for 2 hours by heating at 1 degrees C/minute, to obtain a photocatalyst comprising 20 %mass zinc oxide and 80 %mass titania.
