摘要:Stacked Intelligent Metasurface (SIM)-aided Rate Splitting Multiple Access (RSMA) systems have attracted significant interest. However, severe blockage between the base station (BS) and users causes a pronounced performance drop. To address this challenge, this letter proposes a novel system design for downlink SIM-RSMA system assisted by Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface (RIS). To maximize user sum rate under the constraints of BS transmit power and quality of service (QoS) rate requirements, this letter customizes an alternate optimization (AO) algorithm based on the whale migration algorithm (WMA), iterative projection gradient ascent (IPGA) algorithm and Riemannian conjugate gradient (RCG) algorithm to achieve optimization results. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed RIS-aided SIM-RSMA scheme and the improvement of user sum rate by the AO algorithm.
