摘要：玛丽·埃伦·里士满(Mary Ellen Richmond,1861-1928)是著名的美国慈善组织运动领导者,也是一位社会工作学科的创始人或奠基者。一直以来,我国学界对其思想少有问津,相当陌生。本文考察了里士满的慈善工作生涯和学术生涯,梳理了其社会工作思想从学校教育倡导、慈善资源拓展、社会工作理论提升以及社会立法转向等四次转变历程,概括了其社会工作思想的生成背景、方法论基础、本质内涵以及实践逻辑等四方面的逻辑理路,论述了案主的"社会关系"在里士满临床社会工作与宏观社会工作中的独特性,由此展示了其在国际社会工作发展历史中的奠基人作用。
Mary Ellen Richmond( 1861-1928) is an American charity movement leader. She is a social theorist,and is the founder of the social work profession. But the academics pay little attention to the thought of her. The article takes Richmond life as a clue,combing the thoughts of Richmond social work from the school education advocates to charity resources development and to enhance social work theory,and then to social legislation to four times in the process of change. Sketching out the background,methodological foundation, essence connotation and practical logic of Richmond's social work thought,and then discusses the uniqueness of the"social relations"of the case in Richmond's clinical social work and macro social work,thus demonstrating its role as a founding member in the history of international social work.
