摘要:The shale reservoir is featured by its nanometer pores and ultra-low permeability. Fluid behaviors at nanoscale deviate from bulk, including phase change and transport properties that govern shale gas/oil production. Understanding nanoscale fluid physics urgently requires experimental apparatus. Recent development of nano fluidics allows direct visualization of nanoscale fluid behaviors. Here we review the progress to date of nanofluidics studying shale fluids, focusing on the nanochannel experiments revealing shale fluid physical properties and nanomodels simulating shale rock conditions. Importantly, we also discuss the current limitation and promising future development of nanofluidic tools to provide multi-dimensional data of shale fluids.
