As a new type of green energy storage devices, the Super Capacitor has a good application prospect m many fields. This paper briefly describes the principle, classification and characteristics of Super Capacitor. The application status at home and abroad is introduced in detail. Finally, the paper analyses the problems and development trend of Super Capacitor.
