摘要:NOVELTY - Preparing di-quaternary ammonium salt of hydroxypropyl compound (II) comprises (a) adding hydrochloric acid, trimethylamine and solvent into an aqueous solution of trimethylamine and adjusting pH value of 3-4 to obtain stock solution, (b) adding liquor and epihalohydrins and (c) reacting 3-chloro-2-hydroxypropyl trimethylammonium halide with long chain tertiary amine compound (I) in the presence of a solvent. USE - The method is useful for preparing (II), which is useful as an emulsifier in petroleum extracting field (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method simply prepares (II) with good storage stability and viscosity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing di-quaternary ammonium salt of hydroxypropyl compound of formula (II) comprises (a) adding hydrochloric acid, trimethylamine and solvent into an aqueous solution of trimethylamine and adjusting pH value of 3-4 to obtain stock solution, (b) adding liquor and epihalohydrins and (c) reacting 3-chloro-2-hydroxypropyl trimethylammonium halide with long chain tertiary amine compound of formula (N(R1)(R2)(R3)) (I) in the presence of a solvent. R1 = 8-20C-alkyl or linear 4-8C-perfluoroalkyl; R2, R3 = 1-4C-alkyl; and X = F, Cl, Br or I.
