摘要:NOVELTY - Composite oxide catalyst useful in catalytic combustion of tail gas soot particles of diesel engine comprises cerium oxide-metal oxide/lanthanum manganese oxide. USE - The Composite oxide catalyst useful in catalytic combustion of tail gas soot particles of diesel engine (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The catalyst has high activity and stability (claimed); eliminates soot; is economical; has simple preparation process, and has easy industrial application. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Composite oxide catalyst comprises cerium oxide-metal oxide (MOx)/lanthanum manganese oxide of formula (LaxA1-xMnyB1-yO3). An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the catalyst using sol-gel method or co-precipitation method, comprising dissolving nitrate and citric acid in deionized water, adding organic solvent as a dispersing agent, stirring in a water bath to form gel, drying at 600-900 degrees C for 1-5 hours, or dissolving nitrate in deionized water, adding organic solvent as dispersing agent, adding precipitator under stirring, filtering washing, and drying at 600-900 degrees C for 1- 5 hours. M = Zr, Pr, Sm and/or Y; A = K, Ca, Ba and/or Sr; and B = Cr, Fe, Co and/or Ni.
