摘要:基质辅助激光解吸电离飞行时间质谱(MALDI-TOF-MS)作为一种高效、精确的方法,已经在聚合物分析中发挥了重要的作用。通过MALDI MS质谱图不仅能得到聚合物的各种相对分子质量信息,同时能分析聚合物的重复单元和端基。为了在MALDI TOF质谱分析聚合物时得到更好的结果,研究了样品制备中溶剂的选择对质谱分析结果的影响。选取溶解性较差的尼龙66作为分析物,从样品和基质的溶剂着手,选取甲酸和三氟代乙醇分别作为尼龙66的溶剂,以甲酸(FA),三氟代乙醇(TFE)和四氢呋喃(THF)分别作为基质的溶剂,进行MALDI TOF质谱分析,得到一系列的谱图,分析不同溶剂在MALDI TOF质谱分析聚合物时的影响。结果表明,使用溶解性越好的溶剂得到的谱图越干净,而且相对分子质量也更大。同时,溶剂的惰性对分析结果也会产生一定的影响。
Matrix-Assisted laser desorption/ionization time of flight mass spectrometry (MALDI TOF MS) is a powerful and promising technique for polymer analysis. Various molecular weights can be obtained from the spectra, also the repeat unit and end groups can be deduced to verify polymer' s structure. In order to obtain the better result in polymer MALDI TOF MS analysis, this paper studied the solvent effect in MALDI TOF MS analysis by choosing proper solvent of sample and matrix. Nylon 66 was chosen as a model polymer. A series of MALDI TOF MS spectra were obtained by using formic acid and trifluoroethanol as solvent for Nylon 66, and using formic acid, trifluoroethanol or tetrahydrofuran as solvent for the matrix. The results showed that the better the solubility, the cleaner the spectrogram and the bigger the molecular weight. It illustrates that the inertness of solvent also affected the analysis result. The research provides useful information for polymer MALDI TOF MS analysis.
