摘要:NOVELTY - Manufacture of cyclohexyl benzene involves subjecting benzene and cyclohexene to alkylation reaction in the presence of catalyst. The catalyst is solution containing imidazole ion or tri-ethylamine hydrochlorate ion. The tri-ethylamine hydrochlorate ion solution is composed of tri-ethylamine hydrochlorate and metal halide. The solution containing imidazole ion (I) is composed of compound and metal halide. USE - Manufacture of cyclohexyl benzene. ADVANTAGE - The method efficiently provides cyclohexyl benzene by effectively utilizing recyclable catalyst. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Manufacture of cyclohexyl benzene involves subjecting benzene and cyclohexene to alkylation reaction in the presence of catalyst. The catalyst is solution containing imidazole ion or tri-ethylamine hydrochlorate ion. The tri-ethylamine hydrochlorate ion solution is composed of tri-ethylamine hydrochlorate and metal halide. The solution containing imidazole ion of formula (I) is composed of compound and metal halide. R=1-6C alkyl;and X=fluorine, chlorine, bromine or iodine.
