摘要:提出了用CO2 超临界流体作溶剂,采用溶喷技术制造复印机用或激光打印机用墨粉的方法。利用超临界流体对有机材料的强溶解性能,将树脂、颜料及电荷控制剂等全部或部分溶解在 CO2 超临界流体中,用搅拌方法使未溶部分均匀悬浮在含有溶质的超临界流体中,然后用瞬间喷雾方法获得墨粉粒子。依此方法制造的墨粉,形貌近似于球形,具粒度均匀、无表面污染等优点,与传统的机械法及化学聚合法相比,具有节能、节水、无环境污染、生产成本低等优点,将成为大规模生产墨粉的新方法。
A novel method of producing toner for electrostatic duplicators and laser printers by dissolving and spraying with supercritical carbon dioxide fluid was proposed, according to the strong soluble property of organic material in supercritical fluid. The resin, pigment and charge control agent, etc. used for producing toner can be dissolved entirely or partly in the CO 2 supercritical fluid. They can be suspended uniformly in the supercritical fluid including solutes when they are mixed round. Then toner particles can be obtained by spraying flashily. The shape of toner particles manufactured by this technique is almost roundness. Their granularity is uniform, and no pollution on their surface. Compared with the conventional mechanical technique and chemical polymeric technique, this technique has many advantages such as saving energy, saving water, no environment pollution and low production cost. This technique will hopefully be the new technique for mass toner production.
