摘要:The industrial-grade coconut shell activated carbon (AC) was modified by nitric acid (HNO3) and employed for NO oxidation. The effect of calculation temperature was investigated. It was demonstrated that the modified AC without calcination exhibited the highest catalytic activity. Subsequently, combined with BET, FTIR and TPD analysis, it suggested that the specific surface area of catalyst had no direct relation with catalytic activity and the nitro and C=O bonds were the active sites in favor of NO conversion. Finally, the mechanism was further discussed.
