摘要：The concept of perceived quality was proposed by Olson and Jacoby (1972), which was defined as the subjective evaluation of product quality. It is an important component of the user experience. The most researches in this field focused on young people, women and other groups with strong consumption ability before, but the elderly group was ignored. In the aging society, the elderly will play a leading role in the silver economy, and they pay more attention to the quality of healthy life, so the research on the perceived quality of elderly will bring more inspiration for the product design and user experience research. This is the innovation of this paper. By studying the perceived quality factors of health products for the elderly, we can enhance the user experience of health products in the main dimensions in design. Methods: The data was inputted into SPSS Software and main factors of elderly perceived quality were analyzed by factor analysis method. Conclusion: Perceived quality is a good concept for evaluate the elderly users’ experience of products with factor analysis method. In the interview, we found the new generation of elderly people in China had higher health consciousness. These elderly adults can accept new technologies better and increase health concerns than before. They also have higher requirements for product perceived quality. Therefore it is important to improve product quality and promote the user experience design for elderly. ? Springer International Publishing AG, part of Springer Nature 2018.
