摘要：The shear viscosity, thixotropy, visco-elasticity and the dependence of viscosity on temperature were tested for four kinds of offset printing inks by means of the measurement of their rheology. The results were compared with a printing test to find the relationship between printability and the rheological properties of inks. It was found that the ink with good printability had relatively low zero shear viscosity eta (0), high infinite shear viscosity eta (infinity) and moderate thixotropy with high stress in the high sheer range of the rheogram. Furthermore, the storage modulus was found to be larger and the flow activation energy should be smaller for good inks.
