摘要:NOVELTY - Preparation of magnesium hydroxide comprises reacting magnesium chloride and sodium hydroxide; and adding 0.01-5.00 M chloride aqueous solution to the reaction system of magnesium chloride and sodium hydroxide. The volume ratio of the added chloride aqueous solution to the aqueous solution of magnesium chloride is 1:3-50. The chloride is lithium chloride, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, rubidium chloride, cesium chloride, calcium chloride (CaCl2), strontium chloride (SrCl2), barium chloride (BaCl2), zinc chloride (ZnCl2), or manganese chloride (MnCl2). USE - Preparation of magnesium hydroxide (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple; has convenient operation steps (without water heating and/or aging operation); and provides product, which is easy to separate and environment friendly.
