摘要:NOVELTY - A high carbon yield pitch based sphere activated carbon is prepared by mixing infusible pitch spheres as raw material and 1-80% zinc chloride as chemical activating agent at a ratio of 1:0.25-15; heating obtained mixture at 300-800 degrees C for 0-20 hours to carbonize and activate; cooling to lower than 50 degrees C; acid washing using hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid or nitric acid (0.1-5 mol/L); cleaning using deionized water to adjust pH value to 6-7; and drying. USE - Method of preparing high carbon yield pitch based sphere activated carbon (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method prepares sphere having specific surface area of more than 100 m2/g, and a carbon yield of more than 80%.
