摘要:研究了以 2 -溴异丁酸乙酯为引发剂、溴化亚铜 (Cu X) /联二吡啶 (b Py) /异丙醇铝[Al(OPri) 3]为三元复合催化体系 ,4 0℃下甲基丙烯酸甲酯 (MMA)在环己酮中的原子转移自由基聚合 ,详细研究了溴化酮对聚合反应的影响 .实验结果表明 ,以异丙醇铝为助催化剂 ,MMA可在较低温度下进行活性聚合 ;随着 Cu Br2 浓度的提高 ,自由基浓度降低 ,终止反应受到抑制 ;不加 Cu Br2 时 ,聚合物的分子量分布较宽 (Mw/ Mn) ;加入 Cu Br2 时 ,聚合物的分子量分布较窄(Mw/ Mn=1 .2~ 1 .5) ,而且对数转化率与时间呈线性关系 .
Atom transfer radical polymerization of methyl methacrylates(MMA) has been achieved with ethyl 2 bromoisobutyrate[(CH 3) 2CBrCO 2C 2H 5] as an initiator and CuBr, 2,2′ bipyridine(bPy) and aluminum triisopropoxide [Al(OPr i ) 3] as an ternary catalyzing system in cyclohexanone at 40 ℃. MMA can be polymerized in a living fashion at low temperature with Al(OPr i ) 3 as a catalytic promoter. The influence of CuBr 2 on the ATRP of MMA was discussed in detail in this paper. The radical concentration reduced with the addition of CuBr 2, so bimolecular termination was suppressed. Without the addition of CuBr 2, the produced polymers had high polydispersities( M w/ M n=1.94). The polymerization of MMA became slower and more controlled with CuBr 2 than without CuBr 2. The produced PMMA had low polydispersities( M w/ M n =1.2~1.5) and controlled molecular weights which were nearly proportional to monomer conversion. The logarithmic conversion data plotted against time (ln([M] 0/[M]) vs. t ) displayed current first order kinetics in monomer. [WT5HZ]
