摘要:Nearly mono-dispersed nickel ferrite nanoparticles have been synthesized by a solid-liquid interface reaction of Ni2+Fe23+-oleate complex with alkali solution assisted by hydrothermal crystallization. Chemical reactions took place at the interface of the solid and liquid phase and the generated particles were then dispersed into the aqueous solution through Brownian movement. The obtained samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy. It was indicated that the particle size and distribution were affected by solvents, type of alkali, hydrothermal temperature and time. By finely tuning the synthesis conditions, nearly mono-dispersed nanoparticles in the range of 5-12 nm could be readily prepared. The magnetism measurements showed that the nickel ferrite nanoparticles were superparamagnetism due to the nano-sized effect. (C) 2009 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
