摘要:NOVELTY - Bio-enzyme immobilization paramagnetic aldehyde-based mesoporous molecular sieve is prepared by using gamma -aldehyde propyltrimethoxysilane for introducing aldehyde functional group in inner and outer surfaces of mesoporous molecular sieve; modifying the surface of superparamagnetic iron oxide (Fe3O4) nanoparticles with gamma -aminopropylalkoxysilane; and covalently binding with the aldehyde group, where particle size of superparamagnetic Fe3O4 nanoparticles is larger than the pore size of molecular sieve. USE - Paramagnetic aldehyde-based mesoporous molecular sieve for immobilization of bio-enzyme i.e. penicillin acylase, glucose isomerase, trypsin, or amylase (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The molecular sieve achieves improved performance and efficiency of immobilized enzyme. The activity of immobilized penicillin acylase is 9901 units/g, where after 10 cycles, 91.2% of the initial activity is kept.
