摘要：Based on the thermodynamic model of the formation of solutions containing alcohols proposed by our previous work, an equation of excess volume is established by the approach to charging and releasing attractive potential energy between two components. This equation has clear physical significance., It can not only describe the change of excess volume with the composition for various solutions - containing alcohols, but also display the contributions of self-association, cross-association, and van der Waals attraction between two components to the excess volume.
