摘要：具体的语言文本,其形式、内容和功能,是具有一致性的。传统上的翻译腔研究对此没有足够的认识,导致对翻译腔的认定,及其表现的形式和承载的功能都认识不足。本文以英汉科技翻译为案例,结合英汉语在语法上所表现出的区别性特征,讨论了英汉科技翻译中翻译腔的形式与功能,指出翻译腔的认定首先要关注原语内容是否得到转达,其次要关注译语形式是否通顺,这种关注必须具有语言类型差异与体裁差异意识。
Each linguistic text is formally, semantically and functionally integrated. A biased recognition of this view leads to a fuzzy definition of translationese, whether in form or in function. This paper investigates the form and function of so-called translationese in translated Chinese technical texts with reference to distinctive grammatical features of the two languages, and concludes that a sound definition of translationese, along with awareness of the differences in language types and text genres, matters primarily with a close examination of the reproduction of the original meaning and secondarily with that of the readability of the target text.
