摘要:NOVELTY - Deionized water, polybutadiene microsphere emulsion and potassium persulfate or ammonium persulfate as initiator are mixed and stirred. Nitrogen gas is supplied, temperature is increased and then water-soluble monomer acrylic acid is added to reactor and then subjected to thermal-control emulsion polymerization, to obtain spherical polyelectrolyte brush having particle diameter of 140-300 nm. The obtained spherical polyelectrolyte brush is further processed, to obtain nano zinc oxide. USE - Preparation of nano zinc oxide used for high-efficient nano photocatalyst and water purification. ADVANTAGE - The method efficiently and economically provides nano zinc oxide, using simple process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Deionized water, polybutadiene microsphere emulsion and potassium persulfate or ammonium persulfate as initiator are mixed, stirred with stirring speed of 300-500 rpm. Nitrogen gas is supplied for 3-5 times, temperature is increased to 70-80 degrees C and continuously reacted for half an hour. Then, water-soluble monomer acrylic acid is added to reactor under the protection of nitrogen, reacted for 1-2 hours and then subjected to thermal-control emulsion polymerization, to obtain spherical polyelectrolyte brush having particle diameter of 140-300 nm. Inorganic alkali chosen from potassium hydroxide and sodium hydroxide solution is added to dialyzed brush, stirred for 0.5-1 hour to make the carboxyl on the polyelectrolyte brush fully dissociate. Then, 0.001-0.002 mol/L zinc acetate or zinc nitrate hexahydrate solution is added, reacted, nitrogen gas is supplied for 3-5 times, temperature is increased to 70-80 degrees C, stirred with rotating speed of 300-500 rpm for 0.5-1 hour to allow zinc ion enter into polyelectrolyte brush. Then, hexamethylenetetramine is dripped into the reactor under the protection of nitrogen with speed of 1-2 drops per second and continuously reacted for 2 to 3 hours, to obtain nano-zinc oxide particles loaded nano-spherical polyelectrolyte brush. The obtained brush is calcined at 500-600 degrees C for 2-3 hours, to obtain nano pure zinc oxide particles.
