摘要：伴随着中国高等教育的跃升式发展,国内化学工程领域的高等教育取得了长足进步,培养的化工类人才数量大幅增加,但高质量、高水平、国际化的化工行业人才依然相对短缺。我国化学工业的发展客观上要求化工高等教育培养大批高素质、创新型、具有国际视野的优秀人才。本文根据华东理工大学化学工程与工艺专业接受并顺利通过ABET认证过程的体会,探讨了中国化工高等教育当前的问题和今后的发展方向,建议中国化工高等教育应更加关注学生,进一步树立以学生为本的理念,推动课程体系改革和专业内涵建设,重视安全意识和责任意识的培养,提升化工高等教育的总体水平。
With the leap-forward development of Chinese higher education,higher education in chemical engineering has made considerable progress.The number of professionals in chemical engineering has increased significantly.But there is still a shortage in well-trained talents with high-quality,high-standard and international insights according to the objective requirements of Chinese chemical industry.In this paper,based on the experience the School of Chemical Engineering in ECUST obtained from the process of passing the assessment and having received ABET（Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology）lately,several current issues and future directions of higher education in Chinese Chemical Engineering are explored.We suggest that Student-centered concept should be established,the curriculum system reformed,the subject connotation reconstructed,the sense of safety and responsibility improved,and the overall level of Chinese higher education in chemical engineering promoted.
