摘要:With widely using of television (TV), the TV waste problem becomes more and more serious, it's important to estimate the quantity of TV waste. In this study, the latest and comprehensive data of total sales, imports and exports was collected from which were calculated the domestic sales. A modified Market Supply a model and normal distribution of lifespan to estimate the TV waste generation quantity. In this study, we get the estimation that the total TV waste quantity in China is around 731 million units from 2004 to 2020, and the average increasing rate is 5.2% annually. The TV waste generation will be around 40-60 million units per year since 2010. This model can be used to estimate E-waste generation which is helpful to imple the recycle system. ? 2011 Springer-Verlag.
