摘要:NOVELTY - Resolving of racemic naproxen (R,S-naproxen) into S-(+)-naproxen comprises dissolving R,S-naproxen into resolving solvent; adding certain amount of S-(-)- alpha -phenylethylamine at certain temperature; stirring and reacting for 30 minutes; filtering; washing cold resolving solvent to obtain salt; storing salt in water; acidifying until pH is 2.0-3.0; extracting by extracting agent; and removing extracting agent to obtain optically pure S-(+)-naproxen. USE - Resolving of racemic naproxen (R,S-naproxen) into S-(+)-naproxen. ADVANTAGE - The method provides S-(+)-naproxen with high optical purity, has (alpha)d equal to + 63.5 to + 65.0 degrees , preferably 63-68.5 degrees (at c=0.01, using chloroform at 25 degrees C). It provides 40% yield and uses low cost resolving agent.
