摘要:NOVELTY - A catalyst comprises (mg) permanent red Y (10-60), carbon nanotube (35-85), and oxide (1-10) for every 100 mg catalyst. USE - Catalyst used in producing hydrogen by visual light induced catalytic water reduction (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The catalyst utilizes oxide in replacement of platinum as catalyst aid, and under radiation of visual light, the catalyst has high hydrogen production activity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the catalyst, comprising preparing carbon nanotube metallic salt precursor; storing the precursor into a muffler, and calcining for several times at 200-400 degrees C to obtain carbon nanotube metallic salt system; and soaking the carbon nanotube metallic salt system in permanent red Y solution under nitrogen atmosphere to obtain the catalyst.
