摘要:Silicone Pressure Sensitive Adhesives (PSAs) were made from trimethylchlorosilane, ethylorthosilicate and octamethyl cyclotetrasiloxane. The effect of composition, formulation, and reaction conditions on the performance of the silicone PSAs was discussed. The suitable reaction temperature and the reactant molar ratio of Me3SiCl to (EtO)4Si for the synthesis of a so-called MQ resin are 15-35 °C and 0.7:1, the formulation's resin-to-gum ratio being 1.2:1 - 1.5:1. This paper describes the preparation of a mica and glass cloth tape composite by using the silicone PSAs and its application in the manufacture of fireproof cables usable at above 750 °C. It was proved that the properties are consistent with IEC331.
