摘要：NOVELTY - Preparing crystal yellow disperse dye comprises boiling 2-methyl-3-hydroxy-quinoline and/or 2-methyl-3-hydroxy-quinoline-4-carboxylic acid with excess mixture of phthalic anhydride above 220 degrees C, in an organic solvent in the presence of catalyst, maintaining at 190-220 degrees C for 6-9 hours to obtain the material. The catalyst used is anhydrous zinc chloride or anhydrous aluminum chloride. USE - The method is useful in preparing crystal yellow disperse dye (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method solves price deviation of C.I. Disperse Yellow 54 and yellow SYJ poor dyeing performance problem.
