摘要：文论家伊格尔顿受到关注,主要因为他的"艺术生产论"、"审美意识形态论"和"理论之后的理论"。他清楚地看到,马克思主义文论在20世纪80年代以来的西方越来越难驻足的事实。有鉴于此,他尝试着理论突围,在新时代凸显文学和艺术的文化创造功能,指出它不仅受制于意识形态,而且也创造着意识形态。这样的论断表面上看丰富和发展了马克思主义文论,实际上重新赋予了马克思主义文论以规范性效力,使其在新时代焕发出了新的生命力。
Terry Eagleton has drawn much attention for his theory of ＂ art production＂, ＂ the ideology of the aesthetic＂ and ＂after theory＂. The Marxist literary tradition waned in the West in the 1980＇s. Eagleton highlights the productive function of art and literature, which builds ideology and is bound by it. His argument further develops the Marxist literary theory and gives it a normative force.
