摘要:NOVELTY - Preparation of aldehyde based mesoporous molecular sieve comprises functionalizing the surface of the mesoporous molecular sieve by Co60 gamma ray pre-irradiation graft acraldehyde technology or by gamma -propionaldehyde trimethoxysilane, where the propionaldehyde functional group is led into the surface of the mesoporous molecular sieve. USE - The aldehyde based mesoporous molecular sieve is useful for immobilizing water-soluble bio-enzyme e.g. penicillin acylase (preferred), glucose isomerase, transglucosidase, trypsase and amylase (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The immobilized enzyme has an activity of 8895 U/g and 92% of the initial activity of immobilized enzyme remains even after using circularly for 10 times. The propionaldehyde functional group greatly reduces the influence of surface functionalization on the pore diameter of the mesoporous molecular sieve, the specific surface area and the pore volume. The bio-enzyme is directly immobilized on the surface of the mesoporous molecular sieve in the covalent joint mode without further activating process, thus improving the performance of the immobilized enzyme.
