摘要：本文综述了30年来国内外英汉运动事件方向语义研究的文献71篇,梳理出四个主要研究方向:即方向语义与语言类型学的相关研究,方向语义与其表征的相关研究,方向语义对比及与二语习得的相关研究,方向语义与神经语言学的相关研究。我们的研究发现,方向语义常作为判定语言类型的一个语义成分;有关方向语义表征的相关研究主要集中在方向动词、动词的方向性及介词的方向语义;纯粹的方向语义对比研究较少,多与二语习得结合起来;进入新世纪以来,方向语义与神经语言学的相关研究逐渐融合,成为该领域的一个新方向。基于以上讨论,我们认为:1)研究中应明晰方向语义和路径语义的关系;2)对方向语义的表征应作系统研究;3)加强英汉动词方向性的研究;4)丰富英汉方向语义对比研究层面;5)丰富研究方法,扩展研究领域。
This paper reviews 71 studies on direction of motion events at home and abroad in the last three decades. These can be classified into four types： studies on direction and language typologies,studies on direction and direction representation,contrastive studies on direction in languages and second language acquisition,and studies on direction and neurosciences. This paper also points out the shortcomings of previous studies and the problems to be solved in future research. Five suggestions in this direction are given in the last part： 1） the distinction between path and direction; 2） systematic studies on the representation of direction; 3） studies on verbal directionality in English and Chinese; 4） contrastive studies on direction in English and Chinese; 5） methodology improvement and scope broadening.
