摘要:Experiments were performed on the breakup of water droplets in a coaxial twin-fluid air-blast atomizer by a high-speed gas stream.With the measurements of Sauter mean diameter(SMD)distributions at a downstream distance of the atomizer,the droplet size was found first to decrease,reaching a minimum,and then to increase monotonically with the downstream distance.Correlation of Lc where the minimum droplet size appeared as a function of aerodynamic Weber number and liquid Reynolds number was analyzed.The growth rate of droplet size passes by Lc downstream increased with increasing water velocity,and the relationship between SMD and x/Dg accurately reflected the increasing trend of droplet size.
