摘要：本文基于中国282个城市面板数据,对扩大对外开放和深化城市功能分工能否提升经济增长质量进行了实证检验,结果发现:城市功能分工对本地区经济增长质量有促进作用,对邻近地区却起抑制作用。在功能分工的调节作用下,对外开放对经济增长质量的促进作用主要来自对外贸易的推动,FDI增加反而起抑制作用。分组回归显示,对外开放、功能分工对经济增长质量的影响存在明显区域差异和城市规模差异。但无论是东部、中部和西部城市组还是中心与边缘城市组的估计结果,都在一定程度上表明扩大对外贸易、优化FDI以及深化城市功能分工有助于提升本地区或邻近地区经济增长质量。为提高经济增长质量,应继续扩大对外贸易、优化外资结构和构建城市功能分工体系。
Based on the panel data of 282 cities in China,this paper empirically tests whether opening up to the outside world and deepening the division of functions of cities can improve the quality of economic growth. It is found that the division of functions of cities can promote the quality of economic growth in the region and inhibit the neighboring regions. Under the adjustment of functional division of labor,the promotion of economic growth by opening up is mainly driven by foreign trade,and the increase of FDI is actually inhibiting. Group regression shows that there are obvious regional differences and urban scale differences in the impact of opening up and functional division of labor on the quality of economic growth. However,the estimation results of the eastern,central and western urban groups or the central and marginal urban groups indicate to some extent that expanding foreign trade,optimizing FDI and deepening the division of functions of cities will help to improve the quality of economic growth in the region or neighboring regions. In order to improve the quality of economic growth,we should continue to expand foreign trade,optimize foreign investment structure,and build a system of urban functional division of labor.
