摘要：NOVELTY - Preparing continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic composite prepreg comprises (i) expanding and thinning continuous fibers through yarn stretching device, passing thin layered fiber bundle sequentially through powder dipping tank, heating channel and pressing roller to realize first impregnation of fiber by the resin; (ii) measuring thickness of preliminary prepreg tape using thickness gauge and transmitting measurement result to the powder coating device; (iii) using guide roller, reversely folding prepreg tape so the back surface of prepreg tape is folded over to enter powder coating device and powder coating back surface of the prepreg tape; (iv) re-entering prepreg tape in heating channel in step (ii) and flattening and shaping by the pressing roller; and (v) winding prepreg by a winder, where prepreg is a unidirectional tape or wide prepreg tape composed of multiple parallel unidirectional tapes. USE - The method is useful for preparing continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic composite prepreg. ADVANTAGE - The method is suitable for impregnation of fibers with high temperature and high viscosity resin with precise and controllable prepreg resin content and prepreg width.
