摘要:Block copolymers are prepared by combining living anionic polymerization (LAP) with atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP). But the synthesis of poly[styrene-b-ethylene oxide-b-methyl (meth)acrylates] [PSt-b-PEO-b-PM(M)A] and poly(styrene-b-butadiene-b-styrene) (PSt-b-PBd-PSt) have not yet been reported by the combination of LAP with ATRP. This technique allows to combine with advantages of LAP and ATRP. The [PSt-b-PEO-b-PM(M)A] and (PSt-b-PBd-b-PSt) are synthesized with α-chloroacetoxy, α-trichloroacetoxy, and α-bromine terminated polybutadiene oligomer as efficient macroinitiators in an ATRP process.
