摘要：郑杭生一直强调,社会学研究要有一种顶天立地的精神,既要有前沿意识,又要有草根情怀,正因秉持这种理念,他大力倡导社会调查。自2006年以后,通过一系列的城市社区调查,郑杭生从概念本质、二维视野和中国经验出发,围绕时代挑战与中国命题,系统阐释了何为社区建设与社区建设何以可能,并结合理论自觉与创新之维探寻社区建设的突破口,立体勾勒了中国城市社区建设与社会发展生态的经验版图。郑杭生的社区建设思想,是前沿意识与草根情怀相结合的产物,也是其城市社会学思想的重要组成部分。
Zheng Hangsheng emphasized that one engaged in social science research should have an indomitabie spirit of ＂standing upright between heaven and earth＂ which means the advanced consciousness and grassroots spirit. According to this phifosophy, he advocated social survey vigorously. From the year 2006, on the basis of series of urban community survey and focus on the time＇s challenge and Chinese proposition, Zheng Hangsheng explored the meaning of community construction and how it could be possible from the perspective of concepts＇ essence, two-dimensional vision, and Chinese indigenous experience. He also explored the breakthrough of community construction with combining the theoretical consciousness and the dimensions of innovation. Then, he outlined the experience map of Chinese community construction and social development. Zheng Hangsheng＇s thought of community construction is the product of the combination of the advanced consciousness and grassroots spirit, which also becomes an important part of his urban sociology thoughts.
