摘要:NOVELTY - Palladium loaded catalyst comprises palladium as active component of catalyst, rare earth oxide, alkali metal or alkaline earth metal oxide as auxiliary agent, and stannous oxide as carrier. USE - The palladium loaded catalyst is useful for methane combustion (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The catalyst ensures combustion of ultra-low concentrations of methane, and has high activity and stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the palladium loaded catalyst, comprising (i) dissolving equimolar amount of stannic chloride and sodium nitrate crystal in water, heating and refluxing, filtering after completion of the reaction, washing, drying at 100-120 degrees C and calcining at 500-1200 degrees C to obtain stannous oxide carrier; (ii) impregnating the stannous oxide carrier in mixed aqueous solution of soluble rare earth salt, soluble alkali metal or alkaline earth metal salt, drying at 100-120 degrees C and calcining at 500-1200 degrees C to obtain modified stannous oxide; and (iii) taking soluble palladium salt as a precursor and the modified stannous oxide as the carrier, carrying out impregnation, drying at 100-120 degrees C, and calcining at 500-1200 degrees C, where the soluble palladium salt is palladium nitrate, chloroplatinic acid, palladium acetate, or palladium acetylacetonate.
