摘要:NOVELTY - A copolymer having sulfur-containing structural unit (I) and number average molecular weight of 8000 g/mol or more, is new. The copolymer comprises random copolymer, alternating copolymer, block copolymers and graft copolymer. USE - New copolymer is used for construction of carbon dioxide/aqueous emulsion (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The copolymer with controlled molecular weight distribution and excellent degradation characteristics is prepared by environmentally-friendly and economical method. The carbon dioxide/aqueous emulsion prepared using the copolymer has excellent emulsifying characteristics and stability, and high carbon dioxide volume fraction. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A copolymer having sulfur-containing structural unit of formula (I) and number average molecular weight of 8000 g/mol or more, is new. The copolymer comprises random copolymer, alternating copolymer, block copolymers and graft copolymer. n=1-100, preferably 5-16;and m=1-100, preferably 10-22. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) preparation of copolymer, which involves atom-transfer-radical-polymerization (ATRP) reacting polymer of formula (II) and carboxyl group-containing compound of formula (III) in presence of organic solvent, catalyst and ligand under anhydrous anaerobic condition; (2) polymer (II), which has number average molecular weight of less than 6000 g/mol; and (3) preparation of polymer (II), which involves reversible-addition-fragmentation-chain-transfer (RAFT) polymerizing vinyl acetate as vinyl monomer, dibutyl-(2Z)-but-2-enedioate and initiator in presence of solvent (S1) and 2-((2-((ethoxycarbonothioyl)thio)propanoyl)oxy)ethyl-2-bromopropanoate as chain transfer agent under anhydrous anaerobic condition. The vinyl monomer comprises vinyl acetate and dibutyl maleate.
