摘要：本文尝试探讨了英语报刊教学与跨文化能力培养相结合的跨文化教育实践。文章分析了跨文化教育与英语报刊课程的关系,阐述了英语报刊公选课的教学目的与原则,论述了基于"SIIIN"教学模式的教学活动设计与实施。英语报刊公选课教学实践表明,外语报刊运用得法能够帮助学生增强跨文化意识和敏感性,提高跨文化能力。
This paper attempts to explore the practice of intercultural education by integrating intercultural compe- tence cultivation into the English newspaper course. It analyses the relationship between intercultural education and the English newspaper course, clarifies the teaching objectives and principles of the course, and discusses the design and employment of teaching activities based on the teaching model of SIIIN. The newspaper teaching practice demon- strates that appropriate use of English newspaper can help students raise their intercultural awareness and sensitivity, and enhance their intercultural competence.
