摘要:NOVELTY - Oxidation of toluene to benzoic acid at low temperature and normal pressure involves taking toluene, acetate and reaction solvent in the reactor. The obtained mixture is stirred. The obtained stirred mixture is heated. The obtained mixture is reacted in presence of ozone and air. The obtained solid product is separated after the completion of the reaction. The obtained separated product is purified. USE - Method for oxidation of toluene to benzoic acid at low temperature and normal pressure (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables oxidation of toluene to benzoic acid at low temperature and normal pressure in an eco-friendly manner with high yield and selectivity.
