摘要:The objective of this study was to assess the user experience of enteral feeding pump interface with and without user-friendly design features during simulated feeding tasks, and put forward the corresponding optimization directions for their interface design. Quantitative data were recorded by the eye tracker from 19 Volunteers as they performed simulated feeding tasks on the interface of three different enteral feeding pumps, including the user-friendly one. A five-point Likert scale was used to analyse the qualitative data of user experience. The results showed that the selected sample of user-friendly enteral feeding pump interface scored lower in most evaluation items. Its user-friendliness features failed to enhance the user experience. There is still much room for improvement in the interface design of user-friendly enteral feeding pumps. Design strategies proposed in the study should be effectively utilised in future design. ? 2023 IEEE.
