摘要:NOVELTY - A sosoloid catalyst catalytically combusted by methane comprises copper oxide and cerium oxide as the active constituents. USE - The sosoloid catalyst catalytically combusted by methane is useful for industrial and commercial applications. ADVANTAGE - The sosoloid catalyst catalytically combusted by methane has high content of the active constituent and the low price. Moreover, the preparation process is simple and easy to control. Additionally, the dispersivity of the active constituent is even and the stability is good. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A sosoloid catalyst catalytically combusted by methane comprises copper oxide and cerium oxide as the active constituents; where the general formula of the catalyst is CuxCe1-xO2. x=0.1-0.9. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is a preparation method of the sosoloid catalyst catalytically combusted by methane comprising weighing cerium nitrate hexahydrate (Ce(NO3)3.6H2O) and copper nitrate trihydrate (Cu(NO3)2.3H2O) to dissolve in deionized water to make the concentration of the metal ion be 1 mol/L, adding citric acid with the same concentration with the metal ion, uniformly mixing and stewing for 3-12 hours, heating in oil bath slowly at 50-80 degrees C to form gelatin, drying for 12 hours at 110-150 degrees C, and roasting in the air atmosphere for 4-12 hours at 500-800 degrees C to obtain the catalyst.
