摘要：速度和加速的社会研究维度是充分理解当代社会变化方式的重要概念之一,也是纵观现代性独特而有益的视角,速度和加速的状态让整个现代社会呈现出从未有过的时空结构。速度作为社会科学领域研究越来越具有挑战性,在这个问题上,有两个关键点需要非常明确。首先,速度和加速的研究已经突破了经济学、社会学、政治学的固有学科领域,它涉及的问题规模和层次要求我们必须借鉴来自整个人文社会科学研究的见解和方法;其次,对它的研究必然要结合中国当下社会转型加速期的具体实践,找出其核心概念。对近年来国内外学者关于速度研究做初步地梳理,可找出该领域未来需要进一步深入探讨的有益视角。
Social research dimension of speed and acceleration is one of the important concepts to fully understand the contemporary social change. It is a unique and useful perspective to have a general overview of modernity. The status of speed and acceleration demonstrates an unprecedented space-time structure for the whole modern society. It is increasingly challenging to research speed from the perspective of social science. Two key points need to be very clear in this regard. First, the research on speed and acceleration has surpassed conventional disciplines of economics, sociology and politics. The ranges and levels it involves require us to draw lessons from the research views and methods of the whole humanities and social sciences. Second, its research should be based on the concrete practices of the acceleration period of China’s current social transformation so as to define its core concept. A general review on the research on speed by international and domestic scholars in recent years will help us to further explore the perspective of research in this field in the future.
